OMS Outreach Literacy Team
This team supports the learning of children with literacy difficulties and specific learning difficulties on an individual basis in mainstream schools. Assessments are completed and are used to create baseline information on which to set individual targets and form the basis of teaching programmes.

This team supports the learning of children with numeracy/dyscalculic difficulties on an individual basis in mainstream schools. Assessments are completed and used to create baseline information on which to set individual targets and form the basis of teaching programmes.
Special Educational Needs Assessment and Advice Team (SENAAT)
The focus of this team is to complete assessments and provide advice for children across the key stages, related to a wide range of special needs. This work also includes access arrangements for examinations. The assessment team work in schools with children, SENDCos, class teachers, teaching assistants and parents providing specific advice, support and training.
